Talking about Christmas trees in November may seem early, but if you are planning to celebrate the holiday in your Puerto Vallarta condo or home, now is the time to think about it. Cut Christmas trees are in limited supply and go quickly in the city, usually completely sold out by the end of the second week of December. So, if having a real tree is important, you need to buy early.
The largest trees are found at Costco and are perfect if you own a spacious Puerto Vallarta villa or a larger single-family home. If you have a condo in Puerto Vallarta, try Home Depot, Soriana, Walmart, Ley and the Mega Comercial for smaller Christmas trees that won’t overwhelm your space.
It can be a challenge to keep your tree from drying out and dropping needles before Christmas, so be sure to keep it adequately watered, do not place it in direct sunlight and try to place it away from fans and air conditioning units to keep it looking fresh for as long as possible.
After the holidays, trees can be put on the street to be collected by the Puerto Vallarta Sanitation Department, but please be responsible to ensure that neither passersby nor workers will be inconvenienced or injured by the way your tree is left out for collection.
And, of course, there is always the option to purchase an artificial tree. You can find a broad selection of high-quality artificial Christmas trees in Puerto Vallarta at Home Depot, Costo and Liverpool. Whichever your preference for decorating, buying early will help ensure a Puerto Vallarta Christmas that is merry and bright.
