If you are celebrating Christmas in your Puerto Vallarta home this year and will be trimming a tree, now is the time to be getting ready, particularly if you would like to have a cut tree. Cut holiday trees are usually only available at the end of November and generally sell out across the city by the second week of December.
Cut trees can usually be found – for a short time – at stores like Costco, Home Depot, Soriana, Walmart, Ley or Mega Comercial, but availability changes from year to year, so you may need to make a few stops on your search. If you do manage to find a real tree, remember to keep it well hydrated, out of direct sunlight and away from air conditioning units to keep it nice and green through the holiday season.
The other option is to purchase an artificial tree, which you will be able to use again and again. While they can be widely found in the stores named above, you may find that the nicest selection will be found at Liverpool, Home Depot, and Costco.
Get ready to deck the halls a little sooner than you may have expected and fly like a reindeer to find your tree early in Puerto Vallarta.
